Work Environment & Corporate Culture

A strong foundation of work environment and corporate culture is essential for implementing effective human capital management. At DyDo Group, we are committed to creating an environment that enables employees to work productively while maintaining both physical and mental well-being—what we call “Work-Life Synergy.”

Flexible Work Styles

For office-based roles, we offer up to four days of remote work per week. For sales positions, we have adopted a system based on direct commuting to and from client locations, combined with flexible working hours. These initiatives have reduced commuting time and enabled more focused and efficient work styles.
Our efforts to promote flexible work arrangements have been highly recognized. In 2021, we received the “Telework Promotion Award” from Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, which honors organizations that serve as role models in advancing telework practices.

Casual Workwear Policy

We have eliminated formal business attire requirements, allowing employees to work in casual clothing every day—clothing that promotes comfort and authenticity. This initiative is designed to enhance communication among employees and foster a flexible environment that encourages the generation of new ideas.

Free Address System

At DyDo DRINCO’s headquarters and Tokyo office, we have implemented a free address system. This flexible workspace design encourages interaction and collaboration among employees from various departments, fostering vibrant communication and the creation of new ideas and cross-functional projects.

Productivity Improvements by Taking a “Caffeine Nap”

DyDo DRINCO recommend that employees take a “caffeine nap” by drinking coffee during their lunch break and then napping for 15 minutes as one way to boost productivity.
The stimulating effects of the caffeine found in coffee are widely considered to appear 20 to 30 minutes after the beverage is consumed and then last for six or more hours. In addition, naps lasting 15 to 20 minutes are believed to be an effective way to gain refreshment. Employees who have tried caffeine naps have indicated that they are able to start the afternoon feeling refreshed and that they feel their productivity has increased as a result.

Nikkei "Smart Work Management Survey"

This survey, conducted by Nikkei Inc. since 2017, defines "Smart Work Management" as an initiative to maximize organizational performance through three elements: the realization of diverse and flexible work styles, a system to create new businesses, and the ability to develop markets.
The results are evaluated on a five-star scale, including corporate governance and other management foundations.
We received 3 stars in the "Smart Work Management Survey 2025 Published on Nikkei".

Fostering a Culture of Challenge and Promoting Group Philosophy

To promote the DyDo Group’s philosophy and values, our President and CEO personally visits both domestic and international group companies to engage in direct dialogue with employees about the Group Philosophy and Group Mission 2030. As a symbolic initiative to embody and deepen these values, we have established the DyDo Challenge Award, which encourages a spirit of challenge throughout the organization.

DyDo Challenge Award

Since FY2017, the DyDo Group has continuously implemented the DyDo Challenge Award to support employee initiatives and foster a corporate culture that embraces challenges. The award consists of two categories:

  • Challenge Category

This category recognizes initiatives undertaken over the past year that have made significant contributions to enhancing corporate value.

  • Idea Category

This category invites employees to submit ideas they wish to realize in the future. Winning ideas receive company support for implementation in the following fiscal year. The selection process includes employee voting to ensure broad participation.
