“DyDo Group Matsuri of Japan” (Japanese Festivals) began in 2003 under the DyDo Group philosophy of "Creating happiness
and prosperity, together with people and with society. " Through traditional festivals that have been carefully passed
down across Japan, the initiative was born from the desire to contribute to strengthening community bonds and
revitalization, and to preserve Japan’s cultural heritage by documenting it through video for future generations.
From festivals held across Japan, selected ones are featured in a one-hour special program produced and broadcast by
local broadcasting stations. This initiative, titled “DyDo Group Matsuri of Japan,” is exclusively sponsored by DyDo
Group and currently airs annually on 34 stations nationwide. Since 2020, the program has also been distributed via
YouTube through “DyDo Group Matsuri of Japan Library” (Official Channel), sharing the charm of Japanese proud festival
culture with audiences both domestically and internationally.
DyDo Group believes that revitalizing festivals leads to revitalizing local communities, and ultimately contributes to
energizing Japan as a whole.
By continuing to showcase community-rooted festivals and the charm of local people through our programs, we aim to
support the preservation of festival culture, rediscovery of its attractiveness, promotion of interpersonal connections
inspired by festivals, and contribute to the revitalization of communities.
Right beside the soul of Japan.
