Initiatives for Water Resources
Appropriate Monitoring and Use of Water Across the DyDo Group
We are committed to monitoring and appropriately using water in segments that operate manufacturing facilities. As part of our ongoing efforts to reduce the environmental impact of product manufacturing, we strive to preserve sustainable water resources and the rich natural environment that nurtures them.

Water from the Tara Mountain Range – Nurturing Deliciousness
Tarami’s jelly products are manufactured at two plants located at the foot of the Tara Mountain Range in Nagasaki Prefecture, an area known for its pristine water and lush greenery. The production process uses abundant spring water, selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Famous Waters. Preserving the rich natural environment—including these valuable water resources—is one of our key responsibilities in delivering delicious products.

Returning Clean Water to Nature – Our In-House Wastewater Treatment Facility
To return the blessings of nature—water—back to the environment in a clean state, we have established an advanced in-house wastewater treatment facility. For wastewater discharged into rivers, we apply our own management standards that are stricter than general regulatory requirements, ensuring enhanced environmental control.

Daido Pharmaceutical’s Community Cleanup Activities
At Daido Pharmaceutical Corporation, we use purified water derived from groundwater sourced from the Katsuragi mountain range. Preserving the natural environment, which provides essential resources, is considered one of our key management priorities. Since March 2013, we have been actively engaged in environmental conservation activities, including employee-led community cleanups and communication initiatives with local residents in the area surrounding the Yamato River basin in Katsuragi City, under the name “Idea Activities.”
